The American Curl is a breed of cat characterized by its unusual ears, which curl back from the face toward the center of the back of the skull.

This breed was developed in California in 1981. The newborn kittens can hardly be told apart from the full-grown cats, but as early as the 10th day of their life their ears start turning back, like little horns. This specific feature touches hundreds of thousands of people around the world.
